Gel-infused Burnaid® burn dressing can be used on any type or severity of burn, from superficial burns, such as sunburn, to severe full-thickness burns—even where there are open skin wounds. The water-based gel breaks down with heat from the burn injury, releasing water onto and cooling the wound to help prevent any further damage to the skin or tissue underneath. Once the dressing is removed, any gel that remains on the skin can be easily washed away with flushing of water or saline.
