These expanding stem casters are made from stainless steel and resist corrosion when exposed to water and chemicals. The casters' wheels are impregnated with an antimicrobial compound that prevents microbes from growing on the wheels and damaging them or causing odors. The casters have thread guards that stop dirt and debris from getting into the casters and damaging them. The casters' wheels have precision ball bearings that provide quiet rolling, and the casters have double ball swivel bearings for smooth swiveling.
