Fire Barrier Restricting Collar 25 ft L MPN:RC-1

The 3M™ Fire Barrier RC-1 Restricting Collar expands up to 10 times its original volume, forming a very hard char to help prevent the migration of fire and smoke. It helps contribute to a successful intumescent firestop installation around penetrations in wall, floor, and floor/ceiling assemblies. The collar helps ensure that elastomeric and hard char firestop material will properly close openings left by burned non-metallic pipes and other penetrations. The Fire Barrier RC-1 is ideal for use in conjunction with the 3M Fire Barrier Wrap Strip FS-195+ or 3M Fire Barrier Ultra GS firestops (sold separately).
