Pole-climbing straps are used as part of a pole-climbing strap system to help prevent workers from falling while climbing and working on utility poles. The straps are wrapped around a utility pole, and they cinch against the pole if the worker starts to fall. This stops the worker from sliding down the pole. Workers can move up, down, and around the pole while using the straps. These climbing straps can be used to replace a worn strap in a pole-climbing strap system or to swap out the current strap in a pole-climbing strap system with another strap to allow the user to climb different types of poles.
