The vs-12kds is an s-knife assembly that fits alfa's vs-12 and is the component assembly that turns a gs-12 (grater-shredder) into a vs-12 (vegetable-slicer). Once in place in a unit, the s-knife may be adjusted to slice vegetables to various degrees of thickness. The stainless steel, one-piece "s" knife is finely honed for sharp, clean cuts. This unit is compatible with and will work with a hobart vs9 as well as alfa's vs-12 (but it may not work in other manufacturers' power attachment units). Fits the standard hobart style #12 hub found on mixers, meat choppers/grinders, food cutters & power drives.?.
