This photoluminescent anti-slip tape absorbs and stores energy from ambient light. It is immediately visible in a sudden black-out or underneath smoke. Intended for INDOOR applications, it may be used on single steps and in your emergency staircases. This tape is UL1994-listed: "Standard for Luminous Egress Path Marking Systems" and UL410-listed: "Standard for Slip Resistance of Floor Surface Materials". IBC / IFC code compliant. The tape has a structured anti-slip surface and an adhesive backing. Easily cut to size using scissors. IMPORTANT: Install on wet-cleaned, dust-free, dry smooth step surfaces, using a Pressure Roller. Do NOT bend this floor tape over a step nosing: install half an inch away from the leading edge of your steps on the horizontal, straight smooth surface. Tape can not be used on handrails or obstacles. This anti-slip tape should be installed with 3M™ Safety Walk™ Primer underneath, plus with Permalight® Edge Sealer on both tape sides to prevent liquids from getting to the adhesive backing.ATTENTION: This Anti-slip Tape does not meet the New York City Local Law required labeling.
