With a spherical disc design for greater durability and improved Cv, this Asahi butterfly valve has full seat construction that helps isolate the body and stem from the media and acts as mating flange gaskets. Integral body stops in the valve body help prevent overtightening of the mating flanges. Design allows you to remove the downstream flange while maintaining full line pressure on the upstream side. The integral lever handle comes with a 21-position throttling plate and it allows lockout/tagout with a molded provision for padlocking.
