Fuse Class G 30A SC Series

The Fuse Class G 30A SC Series from Bussmann is designed to protect lighting or heating equipment, appliances, and other nondemanding applications against overcurrent. Its time-delay feature helps prevent nuisance blowing due to motor and equipment startups, while its rejection mechanism ensures the correct size fuse is installed for maximum safety. With a 100kA interrupting rating and a current-limiting design, this UL Class G fuse can disconnect circuits before they suffer electrical damage from overcurrent. Its durable construction also tolerates temporary inrush currents without blowing, providing reliable and long-lasting protection for your electrical systems. Whether you need to protect small motors, heating elements, or other low-demand devices, the Fuse Class G 30A SC Series is an ideal choice for your application.

Top product features:

  • Time-delay opening to prevent nuisance blowing due to motor and equipment startups
  • Fuse rejection mechanism for correct size fuse installation
  • Current-limiting design to protect electrical systems from damage

Top product applications:

  • Lighting or heating equipment protection against overcurrent
  • Appliance protection against overcurrent
  • Nondemanding load protection in nonindicating UL Class G fuse circuits
Time-delay, nonindicating UL Class G fuses tolerate temporary inrush currents without opening, which prevents nuisance-blowing from motor and equipment startups. Also called slow-blow Class G fuses, they open to disconnect an electrical circuit when exposed to sustained loads and short circuits. They have no indicator for identifying a blown fuse, so they're sometimes used with an indicating fuse block or cover.

UL Class G fuses protect against overcurrent in lighting or heating equipment, appliances, and other nondemanding applications. Their rejection feature ensures that each Class G fuse size will only fit its matching Class G fuse block or holder to prevent the wrong size fuse from being installed. They are not interchangeable with any other UL fuse class. These fuses have an interrupting rating (IR) of 100kA and a 13/32" diameter with a length ranging from 15/16" to 2-1/4" (depending on the amperage). They are current-limiting to prevent electrical damage by disconnecting circuits before they're exposed to the full magnitude and duration of an overcurrent.
