- ANTI-FREEZE FOR WET FIRE PROTECTION SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
- Fire Safe anti-freeze protection fluid is glycerin based which is in compliance with the recommendations of NFPA 13. Systems using Fire Safe are assured flow protection of -15°F and burst protection of -50°F. Fire Safe is ready to use and should not be diluted. Check freezing protection each season using a hydrometer to test the specific gravity. The specific gravity should be at 1.130 at 60°F. If specific gravity is less than this number, meaning weakened, then empty system and replace with New Fire Safe.
