These hoses are designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures and are used for steam-cleaning, steam-pumping, heat-control, fire-prevention, thawing, blow-out service, and hoisting applications. They are used in harsh environments like steel mills, refineries, shipyards, foundries, and chemical plants. These steam hoses have a pinpricked cover that allows gases or vapors trapped in the hose carcass to escape so they don't create a blister in the cover of the hose.
