The DAYTON® 3V blade volume control damper helps regulate the volume of air moving through a duct system. It can be used as a positive shutoff, and can also be used for automatic control in low-leakage HVAC systems, or systems requiring modulating airflow. Control dampers are typically installed inside ductwork of low to medium airflow velocity and static pressure capabilities. Install with blades in horizontal position. The symmetrical opposed blade configuration allows it to modulate airflow in either direction. The structurally reinforced frame is constructed of 16-gauge galvanized steel. Linkage is concealed along frame outside of the airstream. Max air temperature 180ºF.
