This Detectamet™ Metal Detectable Retractable Elephant Pen with Standard Ink is x-ray visible and every component is metal detectable. It is made from polymer and food contact approved materials to help meet FDA and EU regulations for safe food contact. The refillable, cartridge-compatible pen is shatterproof to help avoid small pieces entering manufacturing lines. The pen has a textured, triangular surface to help improve grip with gloves and/or in various environments. End caps can signify the ink color, ink type, or HACCP. Suitable for use where quality control efforts are required to help reduce foreign object contamination or allergen transfer in areas such as food processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as to help achieve safety and compliance.
