This Detectamet™ Metal Detectable Metal Case Stick Pen is made of 2 different types of metal to help offer both magnetic and metal x-ray detection. The pen is made from food contact approved polymer to help meet FDA and EU regulations for safe food contact. The design is shatterproof to help avoid small pieces entering manufacturing lines. Its chrome plating helps provide resistance to abrasion, wear, and tarnish. This pen utilizes metal ink refills including standard, fine tip, pressurized for wet or greasy environments, and gel for cold conditions (all sold separately). For carrying convenience, it has a pocket clip. Suitable for use where quality control efforts are required to help reduce foreign object contamination or allergen transfer in the food, pharmaceutical, packaging, and beverage industries.
