Made from optical-quality polycarbonate material, this plain form hydrometer is durable and shatterproof. It's ideal in situations where rough handling or contamination could be an issue, such as in the food or beverage industries. It measures the specific gravity/relative density (g/cm?) of a variety of liquids, and it has an easy-to-read black-scale-on-yellow back to help avoid eye fatigue. At 300mm (12") long, this hydrometer contains lead-free ballast, is serialized, and has a temperature standardization of 60°F (15°C). It's packaged with a multilanguage (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST.
