The M2.7x6mm size allows it to fit standard 1/4-20 screws securely while remaining compact, and its nickel-plated finish resists rust and corrosion. With its versatility and ease of use, this thread insert is perfect for both professional and DIY applications where extra fastening power is needed in thin materials or soft plastics.
Easily install these inserts with a standard drill and tap; thread into hole with screwdriver, bolt/jam nut, or optional power driver. Adhesive on the external threads activates immediately after installation, locking the insert into place and sealing against liquids and gases to pressures of 6000 psi.
