Eaton Aeroquip GH493 MatchMate bulk hydraulic hoses are used in hydraulics and general purpose industrial applications with petroleum- and water-based fluids. They have a 1/2 SAE bend radius, which reduces the amount of force needed to flex the hose and can help reduce the effort required to install the hose. The hoses' tube and cover are made from synthetic rubber, and the hoses are reinforced with four spiral wires. They are stronger and can withstand more pressure than hoses that are reinforced with fewer wires, but they have limited to no flexibility. Eaton Aeroquip GH493 hydraulic hoses are compatible with Aeroquip reusable fittings and Aeroquip TTC12, single-skive, or internal-skive (on certain hose sizes) crimpable fittings.

Bulk hydraulic hoses can be cut to a desired length, and compatible hose fittings can be attached to the ends of the hoses to create custom hydraulic hose assemblies that can be connected to equipment. Hydraulic hoses are used for transferring fluids in high-pressure petroleum- and water-based hydraulic systems commonly found on industrial, mining, and manufacturing equipment. These hoses are reinforced to maximize their strength.
