Eaton FC254 bulk hydraulic hoses are used in general purpose industrial and hydraulic applications with petroleum- and water-based fluids. The hoses' tube is made from synthetic rubber. The hoses are reinforced with four heavy spiral wires. They are stronger and can withstand more pressure than hoses that are reinforced with fewer wires, but they have limited to no flexibility. Eaton FC254 hydraulic hoses are compatible with Aeroquip spiral TTC, single-skive, or internal-skive crimpable fittings.

Bulk hydraulic hoses can be cut to a desired length, and compatible hose fittings can be attached to the ends of the hoses to create custom hydraulic hose assemblies that can be connected to equipment. Hydraulic hoses are used for transferring fluids in high-pressure petroleum- and water-based hydraulic systems commonly found on industrial, mining, and manufacturing equipment. These hoses are reinforced to maximize their strength.
