Eaton Aeroquip FC500 X-Flex bulk hydraulic hoses are used in low-temperature hydraulics applications with petroleum- and water-based fluids. The hoses have a synthetic rubber tube and abrasion-resistant cover, and they are reinforced with either four heavy spiral wires (for hoses with an ID of between 0.75" and 1.50") or six heavy spiral wires (for hoses with a 2.00" ID). They are stronger and can withstand more pressure than hoses that are reinforced with fewer wires. Eaton Aeroquip FC500 hydraulic hoses are compatible with Aeroquip spiral TTC crimpable fittings.

Bulk hydraulic hoses can be cut to a desired length, and compatible hose fittings can be attached to the ends of the hoses to create custom hydraulic hose assemblies that can be connected to equipment. Hydraulic hoses are used for transferring fluids in high-pressure petroleum- and water-based hydraulic systems commonly found on industrial, mining, and manufacturing equipment. These hoses are reinforced to maximize their strength.
