The feeders are powered by electromagnetic drives, and they create vibration that conveys material in the trough at a consistent, controlled speed and volume. The unit has a fixed vibration frequency, but a compatible control unit can be used to alter the amplitude (stroke size) of the vibration in order to change the rate that materials flow through the feeder.
