The Flowmeter Oval Gear model is designed for non-contact measurement of flow rates for fluid viscosities, making it an ideal instrument for both industrial and laboratory applications such as in chemical processes or scientific researches. Its compact and lightweight construction simplifies mounting on pipes with diameter sizes between 0.312 to 4 inch (DN80), while its versatile connections include male/female thread NPT, MFL or FNPT ends for effortless installation. The accuracy of the flowmeter remains consistent from the full flow capacity and features a linear flow rate relationship for precise fluid measurement capabilities in chemicals, water or gases at maximum working pressure up to 495 PSI (36 Bar).
Rotating-gear design offers accurate low-flow readings while the stainless steel housing is ideal for water, petroleum products, and corrosive chemicals. Self-contained unit can be field serviced. The 8 digit to 3 decimal point display can provide batch total (resettable), accumulative (non-resettable), and rate of flow. Also can provide a pulse output or a 4–20 mA signal so meter can communicate with batch controllers, data loggers, and PLC’s. Display is NEMA 4.
