These indoor air handlers install within a ceiling, furr down, or soffit to stay out of view while delivering heated or cooled air to a room. They can be connected directly to a register or to ductwork for delivering air to different parts of a room. When ducted, they distribute air more evenly than a ductless installation to eliminate hot or cold spots. Multiple air handlers can be connected to an outdoor condenser of sufficient capacity to form a multizone mini-split system for cooling more than one room.
