They have a round nitrile loader that faces the piston and a square ring constructed of 15% glass-filled PTFE that provides low friction, high strength, and strong resistance to chemicals. PTFE square ring seals are often used in machine tools, hydraulic presses, and mobile hydraulics.Piston seals help ensure that pressurized hydraulic fluid does not move past the piston as it moves up and down the cylinder during a pressure cycle.
