Garolite XX rods are made with a paper-reinforced phenolic resin that makes them easy to machine. Also known as paper-grade industrial laminate, phenolic, and bakelite, these rods are strong, stiff, and dimensionally stable. They offer low-water absorption and good machinability and are commonly fabricated into low-cost electrical components like barriers, breaker arms, switch panel boards, and relay and switch bases.
