The Kynar PVDF (Kynar) resin material makes the 3/4 x 2 male pipe nipple a versatile plumbing fitting suited for various fluid handling systems, including chemical processing industries and hot or cold water distribution systems in residential, commercial or industrial buildings. With maximum operating temperature of 200F (93C) at PSI @ 73F, its ability to withstand corrosion resistant makes it perfect for use where temperatures might otherwise warp standard metallic piping components such as PVC, CPVC or Polypropylene. Moreover, it is ideal for plumbing installations where chemical resistance and UV exposure could damage plastic or metal pipe nipples exposed to sunlight, ozone, oxidation or aggressive liquids.
Ideal for use with chemical processing, hot corrosive liquids, industrial plating, and waste treatment systems, this CHEMTROL Kynar® nipple features a red pigment for UV protection. Easy-to-install fitting provides a reliable, leak-free system and is maintenance free. Resists salts, strong acids, dilute bases, and organic solvents.
