Using an innovative shield design that provides maximum transfer of pressure from the clamps to the gasket and pipe, this GRAINGER APPROVED no hub coupling is designed to connect no-hub cast iron pipe. Model has a shield that can adjust to a variety of pipe diameters and circumferences, and helps eliminate leak paths and provides a positive and reliable seal. The beaded gasket is an elastomeric compound with specially positioned grooves and beads to help provide exceptional sealing pressure and holding power. The clamps feature a 1-pc. screw housing that mechanically interlocks to the band to help eliminate leak paths that can occur in staked or welded clamps. A floating eyelets design lets the clamp band and shield move independently to help prevent the shield from crimping and causing a leak.
