Also known as U-shaped face casters, dual-flange track-wheel casters maintain their alignment better than single-flange track-wheel casters in applications where impact loads, debris, or obstructions may be present. These extra-heavy-duty casters can bear more weight and withstand more shock and impact than medium-duty track-wheel casters. The casters are mounted to gantry cranes and other heavy equipment used in heavy manufacturing plants, foundries, mines, and other industrial settings. They provide precise control over movement and alignment as the equipment rolls along a track or rail.
