Featuring innovative System2™ sealing technology, this Hayward Flow Control® ball valve design allows the upstream seat to float against the ball which causes a backup secondary seal between the upstream seat and the ball, and increases the sealing load on the downstream seat. This design helps insure long cycle life and performance compared to conventional PTFE seats or seats with O-ring backing where uneven seat wear can result in early failure. Valve has a UV-resistant, ergonomic handle and permanent laser markings that help eliminate the use of labels. The lock-out/tag-out plate can accommodate up to 4 locks, and the molded-in foot pad allows skid or panel mounting. Suitable for use in chemical transfer and processing, clean water technology, municipal waste and water treatment, and other challenging applications.
