The 1/4 inch inside diameter metal hose assembly comes with 18 gauge stainless steel tube for durable and rust resistant construction, along with two high tensile spiral wires to maintain shape and structure. This flexibility ensures easy installation and mobility. Its reinforcement components such as the wire braid offer excellent resistance against rough use, making it ideal for plumbing applications. It can be used in various areas where clean water is transported such as potable and waste water systems or aquarium plumbing without causing leakages or corrosion. These corrugated metal hoses have a 316 stainless-steel inner hose with a 321 stainless-steel braded cover (or outer hose). 316 stainless steel provides excellent corrosion resistance and is ideal for industrial chemical-processing applications. 321 stainless steel can withstand very high temperatures. It has high strength, resists scaling, and provides phase stability with resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion.

Corrugated metal hoses (also known as jacketed hoses) are ideal for conveying products that need to be heated or cooled during transfer. They are used in asphalt and hot-mix plants and the food, beverage, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. These hoses consist of a flexible inner metal hose enclosed in a flexible metal outer hose (or jacket). Fittings on the ends of these hoses prevent any material that is being conveyed through the inner or outer hose from moving into the other hose. This allows the inner and outer hoses to be used to convey different materials. For example, steam or hot oils can be circulated through the outer hose to keep viscous material in the inner hose warm and fluid.
