These work-height steel-deck platform trucks have high decks that minimize lifting and bending when moving items between the trucks and high surfaces such as storage racks, work tables, conveyors, or receiving stations. They also have shock-absorbing casters and cushioned deck matting that absorb shock and vibration while the trucks are rolling, which helps protect fragile items on the trucks from damage. Sometimes called instrument carts, these platform trucks are used for moving delicate, vibration-sensitive equipment in laboratories, testing facilities, and similar areas. The matting has a nonslip surface that stops items from sliding on the deck and colliding with each other. It is also nonconductive, which helps prevent damage to electronic items on the deck.
