Designed for use on various types of wires and strands, these Cable Pulling Jaw Grips help to reduce chances of slipping to provide proper alignment of wire and cable. Use on aluminum, copper, weatherproof coated wire, as well as PVC-covered conductors, and messenger and guy strand. The Chicago style grip is designed for cable sizes from .12'' 1.0'' (3.10 25.4 mm). They are also suitable for pulling EHS (extra-high-strength) galvanized-steel cable. Normally, the galvanizing has a tendency to coat the jaws of any grip, causing the cable to slip. The Double ''V'' grooves on these grips provide 4-point contact, reducing the chance of slipping and providing proper alignment of wire and cable.
