Lab Safety Supply disposable, nonsterile PVDF hydrophobic filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fittings. The membranes offer stability and hydrophobic interactions similar to PTFE. They are recommended especially for filtration of water-soluble oligomers and polymers, e.g. protein solutions. They can also be used for the filtration of hydrophobic substances in different organic solvents. The concentric, funnel-shaped barrels increase volume and decrease back pressure. They are ultrasonically bonded for reliability and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on the barrels. Use for excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency.
