Lab Safety Supply disposable, nonsterile PES/polyethersulfone hydrophilic filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fittings. They are ultrasonically bonded for reliability, and the filter media type is clearly inscribed on barrel. They offer excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The concentric, funnel-shaped barrels help to increase volume and decrease back pressure. Glass microfiber filter media is binderless with 0.7um retention. Use for viscose solutions or turbid liquids or as a prefilter in series with other syringe filters. Reduces clogging of the membrane, so ideal as a prefilter to increase throughput and flow rate. Ideal for dissolution testing and general filtration. Good compatibility with strong acids, bases and organic solvents.
