The glass microfiber filter is an effective choice for applications requiring high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, with its filtration efficiency of 99.99% at 0.3 microns particles and ability to capture small particulate such as dust or bacteria, ensures reduced contamination and increased equipment performance while enhancing operational efficiency for its users. The borosilicate glass microfiber material is durable enough to withstand temperatures up to 482F/250C making it suitable in environments exposed to heat sources or needing high sterility during critical operations such as medical laboratories, cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities, keeping its users secure from contamination. Additionally, its compact size and reusable nature makes it cost-effective with a long term serviceable life providing consistent performance in various settings requiring cleaner airflow such as hospitals, airports, museums or any environment aiming at the best quality of cleanliness and operation.

Lab Safety Supply filter membrane features high-purity, binderless quartz microfiber construction, which withstands very high heat and is ideal for acid gases, aerosols, and in stack and flue gas monitoring. Grade quartz A is a fine porosity binderless quartz (SiO2) glass microfiber with a 99.999% efficiency in air filtration for the retention of 2.20um particles. It features an effective temperature range up to 1000 °C. It is primarily used in air pollution monitoring, atomic absorption spectroscopy, flame emission spectrometry, and other applications where an extremely critical analysis is needed. Membranes feature a uniform screen and felt sides, with uniform density MD/CD, which demonstrates excellent lot-to-lot reproducibility. Manufacturing performed with RO water filtration system. This media meets or exceeds the physical, performance and elemental requirements for EPA PM10, Ambient Air Monitoring methods. Flow rate 1.1 - 1.35 m3/min. (Resistance 95mmH20@10.5 ft./min.). Loss on ignition, =6%. Tensile strength: 215g /15mm (ASTM D828), MD tensile is 7.3 lbs./in (TAPPI T494).
