The solid carbide boring bar delivers superior accuracy and hardness in metal removal operations while reducing vibrations caused by the cutting process. With a minimum bore size of 0.18 inches, this tool can accommodate various diameters of workpieces up to a maximum depth of two inches, making it ideal for deep hole drilling or boring applications. Its right hand cut design allows precision in reaching corners, while the solid carbide construction provides superior sharpness and durability resisting chipping and wear as well as holding an edge longer than conventional carbide tools. This laboratory bench pad is designed with a complex, fused 100% Polypropylene (PP) fibrous matrix, which is lightweight and offers incredibly high chemical resistance. The bench pad is 290g/m2 basis weight, sufficient to easily handle typical lab bench volume spills up to 600ml safely and quickly. It is chemically resistant to most short term exposure of organic solvents, as well as acids and alkalis. The bench pad lays flat with sufficient stiffness, reducing “bunch up” seen with other competing brands. It is soft enough to be used as a wipe. Binding dots accumulate fluids and migrate deeper into the pad, allowing fast surface absorption and higher fluid hold saturation.
