DEF spring-return hose reels hold various lengths and diameters of DEF hose to provide a safe dispensing system for diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The hoses used with these reels dispense DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) for late model diesel engines and for emerging greener DEF service stations in marinas, truck stops, and garages. These heavy-duty steel reels are powder-coated for corrosion resistance and have stainless steel external full-flow swivels and chemical-resistant seals. These low-pressure (up to 500 psi) reels mount on the floor, wall, or the ceiling, and include an adjustable guide arm. The spring-return, also called self-retracting, spring-driven, or spring rewind, allows users to manually rewind hose onto the reel without an external power source. The spring-return has a locking ratchet and pawl that locks into place once users have pulled the hose to the desired length. The ratchet is released by pulling the hose out, and then hose can be rewound onto the reel. These DEF hose reels are used with DEF hoses for vehicle refueling, fuel/lube trucks, and in DEF storage and dispensing systems.
