The M8.00 Single Profile Thread Mill is a high precision cutting tool designed for milling precise threads of internal or external M8 thread dimensions onto various materials such as steel, aluminum, bronze or titanium. Manufactured from premium grade solid carbide for increased durability and resistance to breakage during cutting operations, this thread mill has three flutes that help reduce chips built-up while reducing vibration to ensure smooth operation even on hard materials. With an overall length of 4 inches and a diameter of 0.375 inches, the tool provides versatility in use thanks to its compact size; while being capable of generating crisp threads with exceptional accuracy, repeatability and tolerance control at a depth of 0.5 inch. The M8.00 Single Profile Thread Mill comes fitted with standard coarse pitch inserts that produce threads as fine as 2B/3B according to the American Standard while also being suitable for UNR thread standards upon request.
