Designed specifically for retrofit applications, this Markar half-surface pin-and-barrel-type continuous hinge provides support for the entire height of the door, and is designed for use with interior doors in high-traffic areas. The hinge fits into the gap left after standard butt hinges are removed and can be used to assist in reversing the handing of a door, or to reverse the swing of a door hung in an evenly-rabbetted frame. Permanently lubricated Medical Bearings provide smooth operation with no metal-to-metal contact, to help improve service life and overall function. Use on both fire-labeled and non-labeled openings.
