The Megger® MIT1525 DC diagnostic tester performs insulation resistance (IR) tests up to 15kV with 30 TO maximum resistance and ±5% accuracy from 1 MO to 3 TO. It also offers timed IR, polarization index (PI), dielectric absorption ratio (DAR), dielectric discharge (DD), stepped voltage (SV), and ramp test. Simple rotary switch operation and simultaneous display of multiple results, plus rapid-charge batteries and an AC-sourced power option contribute to the tester's—and your—productivity. The insulation tester also features dedicated voltmeter function, high short circuit current, high noise immunity, and a large backlit LCD.
Advanced memory stores time/date-stamped results and data log, and offers onscreen recall. The fully isolated USB interface lets you safely transfer data to the included Megger PowerDB Lite computer-based asset management software. Double-insulated test leads have fully insulated clips in compliance with IEC 61010-31:2008. The dual case is IP65 dust- and moisture-resistant when closed. Its tough outer case protects the tester from dropping and knocks, and the inner case is fire-retardant. The MIT1525's CAT IV 1000V safety rating is maintained to 3000m altitude.
