Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel disc construction makes it durable enough to endure the high temperatures generated during operation while the 1/2 inch national pipe thread (NPT) connection complies with industry standards ensuring a secure fit into pipelines. Ideal for use with most types of steam heating systems and steam process equipment, this MEPCO steam trap allows 4 possible connections for greater flexibility in your piping system. Reliable trap has all working parts constructed of non-corrosive metals for long life. Model can offer sensitive and positive response to temperature and pressure over entire operating range. The float valve assembly design permits rapid and positive valve action, while the valve location helps assure a deep water seal at all times. A lever-operated discharge valve opens wide so that large volumes of water can flow continuously from trap. Design allows you to inspect, remove, and repair all working parts without disturbing the piping connections. A clean-out plug at bottom of trap body allows you to easily flush away dirt.
