The M14x2 metric coarse threaded spiral point tap with three flutes, plug chamfer, class 6H fit, and cobalt body is a versatile tool for creating threads on through-holes in various applications such as manufacturing, fabrication, or repair works. Its 3-flute design produces a smooth thread with minimal chip clearance while the plug chamfer reduces friction during tightening operations. With a bright and uncoated finish, this tap ensures easy visibility for monitoring thread depth and provides accurate measurements for repeatability in tapping tasks, suitable for use on cast iron, aluminum, or carbon steel surfaces.
The AlTiN coating on these end mills protects them from wear and is more resistant to high heat than TiN, TiCN, and TiAlN coatings. AlTiN-coated end mills are used for milling hard and abrasive materials. Roughing/finishing end mills remove large amounts of material and create a smooth finish on the workpiece at the same time. Miniature end mills have a small diameter and provide high precision and control over material removal during detailed milling applications.
