Dial Snap Gauge without Indicator MPN:201-153

These indicating snap gauges are used to determine the thickness of a workpiece but do not come with the gauge. These gauges use a dial or digital plunger combined with a gauge mechanism to provide a direct thickness reading of a workpiece. The gauge consists of two anvils: one is set and locked while the other is adjusted and the reading is reflected on the indicator. These gauges are especially useful for measuring round and precision ground pieces where the workpiece can be rotated within the gauge.
