Tee 1/2in pipe size schedule 80 socket is a standard fitting used for joining three pipes together in one common point. The dimensions of the tee allow for the flow of liquid or gas through it while maintaining pressure resistance due to its schedule 80 rating. It features female threads on one end, allowing it to be connected to another pipe and male threads on the other ends providing outlet points. Made from black iron or steel, this tee offers exceptional strength, durability, and corrosion resistance ideal for use in residential or commercial plumbing systems where high-pressure applications are required.
Ideal for severe-usage chemical and hazardous fluid handling applications, this ORION tee features a socket fusion system that uses heat to fuse joints, for hermetically sealed, tamperproof systems for acid waste pipe drainage. Each joint takes only 15 to 35 sec. to install, once the heat fusing tool (sold separately) has warmed up. Joints are made of all identical materials and have no metal, to assure that there is no electrolysis.
