The chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance and flexible nature of this plug makes it ideal for sealing hoses or tubes carrying aggressive chemicals such as acids, alcohols or gases within its rating capacity. Constructed from PFA-PFA/PTFE blend material which is known to withstand continuous temperatures up to 500F without losing shape, unlike pure PTFE. Its compression style design seals tightly against the inside wall of tubing without damaging, providing an effective leakproof solution while maintaining easy installation or removal for quick tube replacements on machinery or pipelines where downtime must be minimized thus enhancing safety and productivity within industries like automotive, chemical processing and laboratories.
This Parker® compression tubing plug is made from virgin fluoropolymer materials to help provide the highest purity and highest temperature capability of most thermoplastic materials. Suitable for high-purity lab and semiconductor applications, especially with aggressive liquids and in highly corrosive environments. Can be easily assembled without hand tools or the need to heat and flare tubing.
