Adjustable-width lift-and-roll dollies have a load plate on each end of their frame that can be positioned directly underneath file cabinets or drawers on cube-style desks without legs. The width of the load plates can be adjusted to accommodate different sizes of desks. These dollies are used to lift and move desks that have file cabinets or drawers on both sides. They allow the desks to be moved without having to empty their drawers or remove items from their top surface. The dollies have a steering handle that can be removed for loading, unloading, or storage. The handle has a safety latch that prevents it from falling and damaging floors and walls.
