The shaft collar is made from 303 stainless steel making it resistant to rust and corrosion, suitable for use in outdoor or wet environments. It features one piece construction which provides increased strength compared to split collets. It has a durable threaded design that provides an excellent grip to keep fasteners firmly in place, ideal for tools and machinery used in Power Tools and Accessories. This shaft collar has a nominal outside diameter of 1/2-inch which fits most machines or equipment with similar specifications. It's ideal for holding pulleys, bushings or gears on a shaft without the need to weld them into place. The shaft collar can also be used as a stop for indexing and positioning applications, providing precision control in Power Tools and Accessories.

This 1-pc. clamp-style threaded shaft collar is made to Ruland's exacting standards to help ensure performance benefits, including tightly controlled face-to-bore perpendicularity (TIR = 0.002") for proper alignment of mating components. It is machined from bar stock from North American mills that are selected to help assure consistency and high hoop strength. Double-tapped threading helps ensure precise, burr-free threads for proper fit, easy installation and removal, and extended shaft life. The one-piece design wraps tightly around the shaft for even distribution of clamping forces without the shaft damage caused by set screws, and with greater holding power. Plus you gain the superior axial holding power of a threaded shaft collar compared with smooth bore units. RoHS2 and REACH compliant.
