Heavy-duty kingpinless plate casters have large-diameter ball bearings and large-diameter hardened bearing raceways that distribute loads evenly across the casters, allowing them to withstand heavier loads and more frequent use than medium-duty kingpinless plate casters. These casters have zinc-plated or powder-coated steel frames and mount to the bottom of carts, trucks, and other industrial equipment used in towing applications, heavy manufacturing, automotive assembly lines, and similar environments.Impact-resistant kingpinless plate casters do not use a kingpin to hold the caster together. They distribute weight more evenly, roll more smoothly, tolerate higher speeds, and have better resistance to impacts and shock forces than standard plate casters that are held together with kingpins.
