Great for offices, classrooms, restrooms, closets, and other spaces, this sensor automatically turns lights On and Off as people enter and leave. By reducing the amount of time the lights are on, the sensor cuts energy consumption and significantly reduces energy costs. An integrated photocell keeps lights off if there is sufficient daylight in the room. The sensor detects body heat in motion, and must be located where full line-of-sight is possible. An embedded microphone hears sounds, indicating occupancy in rooms with obstructions, such as bathroom stalls or office cubical areas. By using automatic gain control, the sensor filters out background noise. Reversible line/load wiring simplifies installation.
