The Scienceware® Spinbar® octagon magnetic stirring bar with integral pivot ring has an interrupted profile, which provides greater surface area and added turbulence when compared to the smooth surface of cylindrical bars. Pivot ring aids in reducing friction and chattering. Durable and inert, made of Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA Grade, USP Class VI PTFE low-friction coating. Autoclavable. ISO 9001:2008.
