The ergonomic design of this pipette pump enhances comfort, utility, and dispensing precision while helping to reduce the risk of injury from repetitive and awkward pipetting motions. The one-handed operation minimizes strain on the hand and wrist. The optimally located thumb wheel rotates easily for precision aspirating or dispensing, down to a volume of one drop at a time. The thumb wheel also can be used to “blow out” the contents of the pipette. The angle of the inserted pipette and its placement in front of the hand allows the arm to remain in a more natural, lowered position. The compact design adds only 15.2cm (6") to the pipette length, allowing use in fume hoods and controlled environment glove boxes. Resistant to acids, alkalis and most solvents, this pump can be disassembled for cleaning.
