Featuring an integral pivot ring, this octagonal stirring bar has an interrupted profile which provides greater surface area and added turbulence when compared to the smooth surface of a cylindrical bar. Durable and inert, it's made of an Alnico magnet encapsulated in a low-friction PTFE coating. A pivot ring aids in reducing friction and chattering. Autoclavable.
